NEMEROW, PhD, is former professor of environmental engineering at the University of Miami, as well as other universities, and former head of environmental engineering at Syracuse University. FRANKLIN J. AGARDY, PhD, is a founding partner of Forensic Management Associates, an environmental consulting firm based in San Mateo, California. He is coauthor of Practical Environmental Forensics, from Wiley.
