Lueptow (Northwestern University) and Minbiole (Northrop Grumman) model the six parts of a pizza cutter in a series of tutorials appropriate for beginners, then assemble the parts, create working drawings, and redesign the handle for injection molding. Lueptow is the Charles Deering McCormick Professor of Teaching Excellence and Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern University. He has five patents and over 40 refereed journal and proceedings papers along with many other articles, abstracts, and presentations. Michael Minbiole studied mechanical engineering at Northwestern University and works at Northrop Grumman's Electronic Sensors and Systems Sector.
