Metal-Polymer Nanocomposites

Metal-Polymer Nanocomposites ebook

Nicolais and Carotenuto, both affiliated with the Institute of Composite and Biomedical Materials of Italy's National Research Council, present recent work on the properties, preparation, and applications of metal-polymer nanocomposites. Coverage progresses from the chemical and physical properties of nano-sized metals through different approaches to the synthesis of metal-polymer nanocomposites, characterization techniques, and applications in color filters, polarizers, optical sensors, and nonlinear optical devices. Material is written from a multidisciplinary perspective and will be of interest to students and practitioners in physical, chemical, and materials science as well as areas such as engineering and topology.
