This book was created to introduce Pro/MECHANICA Motion, which supports virtual prototyping for analysis and mechanism design. It covers most of the major concepts and frequently used commands required to advance from a novice to an intermediate user level. Basic concepts include: motion model creation, such as body and joint definitions; analysis type selection, such as assembly analysis, kinematics and dynamics; design study preparation, including design problem definition, sensitivity study and optimizations.
