Drawing on reflections and day-to-day experiences of researchers, teachers, therapists, students, and parents, Male (San Jose State U.) has created a textbook for preservice and practicing educators focused on the impact of technology on the lives and learning of students with disabilities and those who care about them. The text also examines current barriers in providing students with disabilities access to technological tools, and the potential benefits of technology for these students and their future. Suitable for all levels of computer experience. Differences between the third (1997) and fourth edition are not specified.
